May 20th was World Bee Day! The day is dedicated to bees and aims to remind us of biodiversity and food security. Without bees and other pollinating insects, life as we know it is not possible. The existence of 75% of the world’s crops used for food production depends on pollination, especially by bees.
Last year and this year BK Vibro sent insect-friendly flower seeds to its employees around the world. The goal is to make a small contribution to species conservation as the preservation of flowering areas. The flower seeds we send to employees are ideal for sowing on the balcony or in the garden. Soon bees and other insects will come and enjoy the flowers.
We prepared a raffle for 3 insect hotels among all participants who share a flower/bee photo on Facebook or LinkedIn and use the hashtag #BeeKVibro22 by July 2022. The drawing for the raffle will take place on Friday, July, 8th 2022. You can learn more about World Bee Day on the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations website.
