Brüel & Kjær Vibro offers practical skills-based training on a global scale. We draw on our expertise across a variety of disciplines in condition monitoring, machine protection, diagnostics and servicing. Public and on-site customer training is provided by our certified team. 

Our training experts have extensive experience working in Wind Power, Hydro Power, Oil and Gas (HPI), Thermal Power and other industries. Many courses can be tailored to your specific industry, application, or machinery; even training material can be customized according to your needs.

All courses are structured for:

The types of training we offer include: 

Certified Vibration Analyst Training and Examination in Partnership with the Mobius Institute®

Assess vibration behavior and machine condition – gain the required expertise with our Vibration Analysis Training and Examination in partnership with the Mobius Institute®

We provide the ISO-18436-2 Category I to IV training courses and examination. This program is a key component of our training offering in vibration measurement and condition monitoring.

Improve your decision-making and analyze vibration data to identify the right course of action. Because the aim is nothing less than maximizing uptime and efficiently planning the maintenance of your machinery.

CAT I

  • Starting point for beginners in vibration analysis

Duration of course: 4.5 days

CAT II

  • Intermediate, suitable for anyone with min. 12 months of vibration analysis experience

CAT III

  • Advanced, suitable for anyone with min. 2 years of vibration analysis experience and Cat II certification

RV4 Basic thermodynamics and performance monitoring

  • Maximizing the profitability,  environmental compliance and efficiency of a machine

  • Evaluating the condition of gas and steam turbines, and centrifugal compressors using thermodynamic calculations and plots

Course location

Main offices: Darmstadt (Germany), Naerum (Denmark) or Minden (Nevada).
We also offer courses on customer site or at our local representative’s premise.

ISO 18436-2 Vibration Analyst CAT I-IV public courses by Brüel & Kjær Vibro are held in Nærum (Denmark).
We may also organize private courses on our or our representatives' premises worldwide, and upon request on customer site (this is not available in the USA, Australia and New Zealand).

Courses are arranged upon request with agreement on scope, fixed dates and price.

Cancellation

For cancellations, the following terms apply:

  • Up to 6 weeks prior to the course – free of charge
  • 4 weeks prior to the course – 25% of course fee will be charged.
  • 2 weeks prior to the course – 50% of course fee will be charged.
  • Cancellation later than 2 weeks prior to the course -100% of course fee will be charged.

Brüel & Kjær Vibro reserves the cancellation right due to insufficient enrolment.

Reservations at the participant’s cost can be arranged upon request.
