Cleanpower 2022
Like others, we are trying to get back to a new “normal.” Like you, we enjoy attending industry events. It’s fun to make new contacts and learn about the latest developments in the industry. It’s why we are excited to fly out and meet you in person at Cleanpower 2022 in San Antonio, Texas, from 16 to 18 May!
Our focus at this event, where we will be exhibiting together with NSK, will be the life cycle of bearings for wind turbines. Why are we focusing on bearings? Well, if something is wrong with the bearings and it’s not corrected, some problems will occur that will affect the profitability of your wind turbine.
Loose Turbine Bearings
Take a loose outer bearing as an example. When the outer race is loose, it rubs against the bore of the gearbox housing. If this is not corrected, the parallel stepped shafts can become misaligned, causing tooth damage and damage to other bearings.
How does B&K Vibro help to avoid these problems?
We have been closely involved with the wind turbine monitoring industry since its beginnings in 1999. In cooperation with manufacturers of turbines and components as well as institutes, owners, and operators, we have done a lot of research to improve the way you monitor wind turbines. Over the years, we monitored thousands of wind turbines which enabled us to refine monitoring techniques.
Now we can accurately predict when and what will need maintenance. This allows you to reliably maximize the lead time to maintenance when faults are detected. Our experts would like to share this collective experience with you and discuss how we see the world from a condition monitoring perspective. Contact us today at marketing@bkvibro.com to arrange a meeting.
Until then, we hope to see you in San Antonio at Cleanpower 2022.
