VDAU-6000 Condition Monitoring System Launched

Released at this year's Maintain exhibition in Munich, the VDAU-6000 is the latest in a series of cutting-edge condition monitoring developments. The high density 16-channel parallel processing functionality lends itself to the monitoring of complex machine trains, auxiliary machines and balance-of-plant applications. It can be field-mounted directly next to machines (Zone II ATEX certification) or placed in an instrument cabinet as an extension of an existing safety monitoring system. More

VIBROCONTROL 1500 Product Enhancements

With protection class IP 65, the combination of the two-channel VIBROCONTROL 1500 (VC-1500) machine protection system installed in the newly available protective housing is suitable for installation in harsh environmental conditions.

With the aid of the Control-Center-Software technology, the VC-1500 can be configured and results visualised directly via the Internet - remote monitoring indeed! More

Exhibition Review

Autumn was marked by two major events on the Wind Energy sector: Husum WindEnergy attracted 950 exhibitors and 33,000 visitors from 81 countries. The projected figures for 2012 are even higher and emphasise the robust growth of this industry on an international level.

China accounted for almost half of the 16GW that were installed in the first half of the year (source: WWEA) and China Windpower, the country's largest and most important international wind power conference and exhibition, was another highlight. Brüel & Kjær Vibro shared a booth with our sister companies within the Spectris Group, all providing monitoring solutions from the design through R&D, production to operation. More
