Hans Svenningsen has started as Finance Director

Hans Svenningsen will be a member of the Brüel & Kjaer Vibro management team.

Hans Svenningsen has a professional background as auditor in which capacity he has worked 6 years with Arthur Andersen & Co in respectively Copenhagen and Aarhus. After finishing the audit experience he worked in various Danish and international companies including a 3 year assignment in Thailand and a one year spell in London for the international oil company, Kuwait Petroleum. Recently Hans has worked as CFO in Sterling Airlines A/S with base in Copenhagen.

Torben Ekvall succeeds Erik Bornhøft, who is now retiring. During Erik Bornhøft’s period at the helm he has overseen the integration of the Darmstadt based Schenck business with the original Nærum operation, the implementation of the wind turbine monitoring product and the development of the new VIBROCONTROL 6000 safety and condition monitoring platform.

Torben Ekvall joined the business one year ago as Vice President Sales and Marketing. He is an engineer by education and joined us from Siemens where he held a number of positions including a spell in Asia. Due to his outstanding achievements, Torben Ekvall now has been promoted to the position of Managing Director.

New acceleration sensors AS-063 and ASA-063

Here comes the youngest generation of our extensive sensor portfolio:
The new acceleration sensors AS-063 and ASA-063 are designed for stabilized power supply and work according to the compression principle. They can be used for both portable and stationary applications. The cable interface consists of an axial  plug connection according to standard MIL-5015-C. While AS-063 is already available,  the ATEX-version ASA-063 with the marking II 1 G Ex ia IIC T6 resp. II 2 D Ex iaD 21 T = 145 °C will follow soon.
