Newsletter 1st issue

##Greeting## ##Name##,

You are either seeing on your computer screen or holding in your hand the first issue of the Newsletter of Brüel & Kjaer Vibro. In the future this newsletter will keep you informed about knowledge from the technology of vibration measurement and condition monitoring, in a more abbreviated form and without so much flourish. With the help of practical examples our applications engineers will introduce you to solutions from various branches of industry.

This according to the slogan: “Do good and talk about it”, so that others can also benefit from it.

Beyond that we would also like to also give you exclusively - in chapter form from issue to issue – a compendium of teaching at hand about vibration, which will provide you with valuable background knowledge and useful tips about this ever-increasingly relevant subject.

With our newsletter you will receive in-depth technical information about our extensive product range.

In the next newsletter we will let you know who of our registered newsletter subscribers is the winner of the IPOD !

Have fun reading this 1st issue!

VIBROCONTROL 6000

Protective monitoring using the most modern technology

Everything you need from one source:

  • Sensors and installation accessories
  • Measurement and monitoring electronics
  • Measured data processing
  • Diagnostic data processing

Continuously steady production demands the best possible security. Only unlimited availability can ensure a trouble-free production process. Brüel & Kjaer Vibro can help you achieve this security. The VIBROCONTROL 6000 system was developed for this purpose based on extensive experience. Through its building-block structure it is possible to solve the most diverse of monitoring tasks.

The electronics is configured and edited through a computer interface. OPC interfaces simplify the  data transfer to the PC and provide Setup, Service and Process-visualisation functions. There is only one type of monitoring module, which is able to operate fully independently with its 12 input and output channels. The system can be powered by 90 … 265 VAC or 18 ... 63 VDC (optionally also with redundant power).

    Encyclopaedia of vibration technology

For communication in a field of activity like vibration measuring technology it is important to always use the same designations with the same meaning.

The available “Lexicon of vibration technology” represents an attempt to arrange the subject descriptions, characteristics and definitions for the extensive field of activity of vibration measuring techniques, as well as the traditionally bordering fields of activity, in more compact, alphabetical form.

With each new type character we will publish a part of the alphabet on our homepage. This way you will find everything worth knowing under the alphabetical heading.

At first we will publish it in German, but as soon as possible, it will also be available in English.
