In March 2007 we presented our universal genius VIBROCONTROL 6000 Compact monitor to you with a new type character. Since then this three-canal measuring instrument has established a firm place in the family of our compact electronic monitoring instruments. Its important characteristic is its versatility. So far we have developed more than 200 different variants for our customers. That extends from 1-channel to 3-channel standard applications and up to individual, freely programmable filters. Executions with and without alarm relay functions as a pure transmitter have been put into operation by our customers. Solutions are tailor-made for the respective applications, and combinations of measurement tasks are also possible in the same instrument, where in the past several instruments had to be used. An example of this is the combination of axial position measurement together with two channels of relative shaft measurement in one instrument. Individual bandpass filters are also available as well as the measurement and monitoring of vibration and bearing condition. VIBROCONTROL 6000 Compact monitor has in addition an OPC interface for communication and data transfer to a PC. Connected to our xms software, the condition of machines in your plant can be visualized. At any time the measurement values are available, the trends can be displayed and can be archived in the xms database. DS-series displacement measuring chains now with approval for installation in dust-explosive atmospheres. Since the introduction of electro-technical operational devices in everyday industrial applications, people have become aware – due to catastrophic events – of the possible dangers in explosive atmospheres. There are in principle two combustible atmosphere types: gas-air mixtures and dust-air mixtures. Uncontrolled combining of these atmospheres with an electrical ignition source can constitute a real danger to humans and the environment. Here, explosion prevention measures ensure that no dangerous situations can develop. The intended employment of explosion-proof operational devices provides this safety. The DS-series displacement measuring chain has up to now had approval for employment in gaseous atmospheres. For those atmospheres where types of dust, fibers or fluff are present, this approval was however not valid. This approval has now been extended to include dust atmospheres. Depending upon the potential for danger the zones are separated into zone 20, zone 21 and zone 22. In accordance with the new design inspection certificate the DS-series displacement measuring chain can now also be used in zones 21 and 22. User Terminal für VIBROCONTROL 6000 Compact monitor VIBROCONTROL 6000 Compact monitor is a decentralized safety monitoring unit. Once configured it is working completly autarkic. The measurements can be configured and viewed directly at the Compact monitor. With the use of the User Terminal, parameters can be configured and stored. This garanties, that once a safety monitoring solution is activated, it will work without the risk of faulty use. |
