	For our 5th newsletter we have concentrated our self to only one item. We very intensive report a case study about a diagnosis and field balancing of a dryer blower. This example shows, that even bigger Problems easily can be solved by the use of the right equipment. A case, like many others that can happen so or in a similar way even at your plant. Bearinghousing	Impeller diameter: 2.5 m Impeller speed: 780 rpm Motor speed: 1500 rpm Drive power: unknown AC motor with star triangle connection Base steel construction 6 meters high, T- construction with cross members Motor to impeller coupling:Belt drive Analyser : VIBROTEST 60 from Brüel & Kjær Vibro History During operation the operator’s attention was drawn to the fact that the ventilator unit was no longer in order by louder than normal noise and a visibly higher level of vibration at the handrail of the safety barrier.
