Condition-based machine maintenance with xms The Situation The condition-oriented maintenance of machines by means of vibration monitoring by a modern management system (asset management) can no longer be left out of your planning. Since the introduction of the xms database software – extended monitoring software - in 2002, the xms based on the newest 32-bit Windows® technology has proven itself to be the best in many applications. Although up to now the emphasis of xms lay in collection of offline data with the VIBROTEST 60, a portable oscillation measuring instrument for analysis and data collection, the current version 4 xms was especially developed for on-line connection to measurement electronics for vibration monitoring.
