| The Non-contacting displacement sensor is part of the Brüel & Kjær Vibro displacement measuring chain, comprising: Non-contacting displacement sensor + extension cable + oscillator.The displacement measuring chain serves for non-contacting displacement measurement according to the eddy-current measuring principle. The sensor may be used in hazardous areas applications when used in conjunction with a compatible oscillator type OD-05x and a corresponding protective circuit (Zener Barrier).The measured variables are shaft relative vibration and shaft relative displacement. Special features: Measuring range for this sensor is 2mm. This provides an optimal relation between measuring range, resolution and sensor diameter. The working frequency range is between 0 to 10 000Hz. Flexible installations - Special mechanical design of the sensors guarantees troublefree installation. Suitable for all industrial enviroments due to its rugged construction and variety of sensors.
