| The 5704 accelerometer is developed to meet the requirements of permanent vibration monitoring installations in a potentially explosive atmosphere (zone 0). It is intended as a general purpose monitoring transducer. Significant reduction of transient temperature and base strain outputs, while maintaining a high mounted resonance and operating temperature is achieved using a "shear" construction.
