| Because of its low weight and small dimensions, Type 4391E is well suited for off-line monitoring or for use in permanent vibration monitoring installations where the space for installation is limited and where EEx requirements must be fulfilled. The base is isolated to prevent ground loops. The "shear" construction of the accelerometer significantly reduces transient temperature and base strain outputs. At the same time a high mounted resonance is maintained, together with a high operating temperature. The accelerometer can be used in a zone 0 environment.
