VIBROCONTROL 4000 is based on an international format 19" rack where all central components and up to 12 measuring, monitoring modules are installed.
Each rack is a self-sufficient unit. No connection to further racks or central units exists.
Communication and data transfer with computers or control systems is through an appropriate corresponding interface.
All slot positions in the rack are provided with the necessary power and internal communication via an internal bus. A separate, external connection is not required.
Each monitoring module can be plugged into any slot position of the rack, even while the rack is under power. Additions to an existing rack that has unoccupied slot positions is therefore possible at no additional expense over and above the cost of the additional modules themselves.
The number of variants of monitoring modules for different applications has been drastically reduced in the VIBROCONTROL 4000 system.
Distinction is made between measured signal characteristics and not signal sources (sensors) for the module selection.
All monitoring modules are configured and programmed for their respective task using a simple, external software program. After configuration is complete all modules operate independently. No superior computer module is used. |
