| VIBROCONTROL 4000 as an on-line, serial-operating data-acquisition system is renamed VIBROCAM 4000. When equipping expensive, production machines with conventional safety monitoring systems, the demand is growing for additional analytical / diagnostic monitoring as well. This permits early identification of changes in machine behaviour and quick response before the start of any serious machine damage. In this computer-supported, multiplexer method the measured signal from a monitoring module is processed according to a predefined configuration (broad-band, narrow-band, FFT, time-signature, harmonics, etc.) by the CI-421 interface module. This assessment is independent of the module's safety setup. Signals that are not monitored for safety as well can be included in the data acquisition process using the 30-channel Multiplexer module MX-410. Such a system, which includes the software CM-400, is called VIBROCAM 4000. |
