After assessing the condition of a machine and identifying the source of a fault it should be possible to carry out corrective action or maintenance procedures on location. How quickly and accurately machine faults can be identified and corrected depends on the versatility of the available measuring instrument.
The Series 40 measuring instruments offer not only a broad range of analysis functions, but also allow corrective action for the most common fault, namely unbalance, to be carried out.
All important measurements used to assess the vibration behaviour, the condition of rolling-element bearings and acoustic vibrations can be carried out.
Individual measurements, or sequential measurements over time or machine speed, can be displayed, printed out, stored, unloaded to a PC with the software VIBROEXPERT CM-400 and documented. Conclusions about the condition of the machine for a speed or operating range are therefore quickly and easily determined.
