Operational balancing (often called field balancing or on-site balancing) provides a practical efficient method for test facilities, assembly and plant maintenance to balance or trim balance completely assembled machines.
Principle balancing steps
Balancing means re-distribution of the mass of a rotating body so the body rotates without influence on the bearings due to uncompensated centrifugal forces, and the bearings are not subjected to synchronous loads.
